Measles and Whooping Cough. — Measles and whooping
cough became notifiable under the Measles and Whooping Cough
Regulation, 1939. The following numbers of cases were notified :—
Measles 1,401
Whooping Cough 638
There were three deaths from whooping cough and two deaths
from measles.
Tuberculosis .—The number of cases of tuberculosis notified during the year and the number of deaths which occurred were as follows :—
