(6) Other Hospitals.—The King Edward Memorial Hospital
has two wards of 18 beds each for medical and surgical cases and
seven private wards. Extensions are at present being carried out
to accommodate 40 more beds.
Ambulance Facilities.
(1) Infectious Disease.—The Chiswick and Ealing Hospitals
Committee provide a motor ambulance in which all cases of infectious
disease are removed to the Isolation Hospital from both Ealing
and Chiswick.
(2) Non- Infectious and. Accident Cases.—The Town Council
has two motor ambulances for the removal of accident or noninfectious
cases to hospitals or nursing homes in Ealing, or to
general hospitals in London. Both these ambulances are modern
vehicles and well fitted to convey sick cases with every comfort.
