The Maternity and Child Welfare Centre and the School
Clinic, the former maintained by the Town Council and the latter
by the Education Committee, are conveniently situated in one
building, which together they completely occupy, at 13, Mattock
Lane, within two hundred yards of the Public Health Department
and almost in the centre of the town. The performance of these
two branches of public health activity so close together in the
same building facilitates the management of the work and its
complete co-ordination.
