for a maternity case, a doctor's certificate that the patient
is fit for conveyance is required before removal. By
arrangement with the District Nursing Association, it
is now possible for a certified midwife to accompany all
maternity cases.

various Infant Welfare Centres and Ante-Natal Clinics
are held in the different buildings throughout the
district and also the average attendances per session :—
