Taking all the groups examined, subnormal nutrition was recorded in 10.8 per cent of the
children as contrasted with 11.5 per cent. in 1945.

The figures for exclusions are not related in any way to the
figures obtained in routine medical inspections.
These figures show an increase in Whooping Cough.
Chicken Pox, Impetigo, Ringworm, Scarlet Fever and Conjunctivitis,
whilst Measles, Mumps and Scabies showed a decrease.
