In addition, during the year 17,000 packets of dried milk
were obtained from the chemists at cost price, through the
Coupon Scheme. During 1936, 18,000 packets were obtained.
The increase in the amounts of milk supplied during the year
is due to the putting into operation of Circular 1519 issued by the
Ministry of Health dated 1st April, 1937.
Massage Clinic.
The Massage Clinic in connection with the Maternity and
Child Welfare Scheme is held at 47, St. James' Road on five
afternoons a week. Cases are referred thereto by the doctors at
the Infant Welfare Centres. A few cases are also referred from
the Orthopaedic Clinic and from London Hospitals.
The following Table summarises the work done, and
indicates the type of case referred.
