Report for the year ended 31st December, 1925 :— 1.—Milk and Cream not sold as Preserved Cream.

* In one instance Boric Acid to the extent of 0.4 per cent, was
found in cream not sold as preserved cream. A satisfactory
explanation was furnished and no further action taken. In two
instances a trace of Boric Acid was found but was considered by the
Analyst as too small to be of service as a preservative. No action
was taken.
2.—Cream sold as Preserved Cream.
(a) Instances in which samples have been submitted for analysis to ascertain if the statements on the label as to preservation were correct: —
