*These samples could not be classified owing to the fact that it
was mixed milk of large dairy firms who obtain their milk from
practically all the areas mentioned in the above table.
SALE OF FOOD AND DRUGS ACT.
During the year 134 samples of milk (131 new and 3 condensed)
and 468 other samples were taken.
In 20 instances the vendors were warned, seven were covered
by a declaration, and in 25 instances no action was deemed
necessary.
