The number of men accommodated during the year was 36,292.
The average number of men lodgers amounted to 99 per night
throughout the year. The receipts and expenditure for the last five

2.—Private Common Lodging Houses.
There are 10 common lodging houses on the register.
During 1925, 208 day and 21 night inspections were made.
Notices were served for the following conditions : —

Defective cisterns.
Cleansing of w.c. seats.
Drains stopped.
Nuisance caused by dampness.
Verminous conditions.
Choked rain water gutters.
Dirty w.c. pans.
Dirty floors.
