MUNICIPAL LODGING HOUSE.
This lodging house afforded accommodation for 17 women and
84 men up to the 26th April, 1923, after which date it was opened
exclusively for men lodgers. The number of nightly occupants
during the year amounted to 331 women (January 1st—April 26th)
and 30,748 men for the whole of the year. The average number of
men lodgers amounted to 88 per night throughout the year.
