In all cases where the parents were too poor to purchase
spectacles the children were referred to the Guild of Help, which
rendered very valuable services with respect to these cases.
ACTION TAKEN TO PREVENT SPREAD OF INFECTIOUS DISEASES.
The method of dealing with notifiable disease is dealt with in
the report to the Sanitary Committee of the Council. During the
year the undermentioned cases have been dealt with by the department:—
