Unsound Food.

Five tons, fourteen cwts., nine lbs. of unsound food were surrendered as unfit for human consumption during the year, as shown in the following table. Where possible this was used as animal food after suitable treatment.

Slaughterhouses.
There were no applications received during the year for
licences to slaughter animals under the Slaughter of Animals
Act, 1933, and no animals were slaughtered at the one licenced
slaughterhouse in the district.
