Thefollowing Table shows the number of new cases of Tuberculosis notified during the year, together with the number of deaths:—

Treatment for cases of Tuberculosis is under the control
of the Kent County Council, and during the year the
following number of patients have received treatment:—

PUBLIC HEALTH (PREVENTION OF TUBERCULOSIS)
REGULATIONS, 1930.
PUBLIC HEALTH ACT, 1936 (Section 176).
It was not found necessary to take any action under the
above during the year.
INFECTIOUS DISEASE : HOSPITAL
ACCOMMODATION.
Cases of Infectious Disease occurring in this District are
admitted to the West Kent Joint Hospital.
LABORATORY WORK.
Bacteriological work in connection with this District is
carried out at the Countv Laboratorv. Maidstone.
