In addition, the following number of emergency swabs
were examined by Dr. J. Byers, at the Laboratory of the
West Kent Joint Isolation Hospital:—

One swab for the detection of Haemolytic Streptococci
was also examined at the Ministry of Health's Emergency
Public Health Laboratory.
DRAINAGE.
No important changes in the drainage of the District
took place during the year.

No important change in the collection and disposal of
