DYSENTERY.
Eleven cases of Dysentery were notified.
MEASLES.
First cases of Measles were made compulsorily notifiable by
the Chislehurst and Sidcup (Measles) Regulations, dated the
15th April, 1935, which came into force on the 15th May, 1935.
During the year 831 eases of Measles were notified, as
compared with 24 last year and 745 in 1936.
Arrangements are made for home nursing of eases of
Measles, when required, and for the removal to hospital of such
cases where the condition of the patient renders it desirable.
During the year 3 cases were removed to the Isolation
Hospital.
I am pleased to report that again this year no deaths were
registered as occurring from Measles.
TUBERCULOSIS.
The number of new cases of Tuberculosis notified during
the year was 40, as compared with 60 last year.

The 40 new cases comprised:

Treatment for cases of Tuberculosis is carried out by the
Kent County council. and during the year the following
number of cases from this District have received treatment:
Number of persons receiving sanatorium treatment 71
Number of persons receiving dispensary treatment 12
Dispensary supervision only 176
