or Phthisis) numbered 32. This is equal to a Death
Rate of 0.51 per thousand of population.
OTHER RESPIRATORY DISEASES.
The deaths from other diseases of the respiratory system
numbered 44. This gives a Death Rate of 0.71 per thousand
of population.
CANCER.
The number of deaths from Cancer (malignant disease)
was 92. The Death Rate from Cancer was 1.48 per thousand
of population.
INFLUENZA.
During the year 2 deaths occurred from Influenza, the
Death Rate being 0.03 per thousand of population.
