Factory and Workhop Act, 1901.—There are 8 Factories and
39 Workshops on the Register, and particulars of them are given in Mr.
Capon's appended report. They have been inspected, as required under the
Act, and the only defects found have been of a trifling character and have
been remedied on attention being directed to them.
Mr. Capon, who has undertaken the duties of Sanitary I nspector in the
absence of Mr. Powell, on active service with H.M. Forces, has furnished
a report of the work carried out by him during the year, which, together
with the statistical tables required by the Local Government Board, and
the table required by the Secretary of State for recording action taken
under the Factory and Workshop Act, 1901, are appended.
