Water Supply.
With the exception of some dozen houses, the position of
which renders connection impracticable, the whole of the houses in
the District are connected with the mains of the Metropolitan
Water Board, and the supply is of excellent quality, constant, and
sufficient.

tory results, and in one case the water passed through a cistern in
the scullery with no cover, and the occupiers appeared very uncertain
when the cistern had last been cleaned out.

I have the honour to be, Gentlemen,
Your obedient Servant,
JAMES SCOTT TEW.
