    CHILD AND INFANT MORTALITY 1962 The number of deaths of infants under the age of 12 months for which full records exist was 19, compared with 19 in 1961. The Registrar-General returns 16 infant deaths and the infant mortality rate for the year was 15.20 per 1,000 live births. Deaths of children under 15 numbered 2 due to Leukaemia and Malignant Brain Tumour.
