MATERNITY AND CHILD WELFARE DENTAL REPORT,
1939.
The sessions were held on Friday afternoons and at such other
times as circumstances demanded.
The estimated number of sessions was 72 and the attendances
totalled 746 compared with 740 in 1938.
There was an increase in the numbers of children and adults
attending, 231 children compared with 207 and 132 adults compared
with 116.
During the year 27 children and 12 adults were treated at the
West Wickham clinic.

BECKENHAM AND PENGE JOINT MATERNITY HOME.
The premises at 80, Croydon Road were closed for the reception
of patients on the 5th September as there was no provision for the
protection of patients. All cases booked for succeeding months
were advised and offered the services of Midwives from the Home
to attend them in their own homes.
