INFECTIOUS DISEASES.
The methods by which information of sickness, infectious or
non-infectious, among school children is brought to the School
Medical Officer have been described in previous reports, and no
important changes have taken place during the year.
The School Nurse has paid 1,066 visits to the homes of children
who were reported absent on account of sickness.
School Closure.—The School Medical Officer, acting in accordance with Paragraph 53 (b) of the Code, closed the following Departments for the diseases indicated: —
