One hundred and twenty-seven notifications
were received of all forms of tuberculosis—pulmonary
106 and non-pulmonary 21, and there were four
deaths of un-notified cases, making a total of 131
new cases.
Information has been received of the removal into
the district of 19 tuberculous persons, included in the
number of notifications received—two of these are
old cases returned to Barking. This compares with 28
received during 1942, and 37 for 1941.
