The following figures give further details of the work
accomplished. As the whole of the fall in infant mortality has
been claimed both centrally and locally as the direct result of
municipal effort it would be unkind and perhaps unwise to raise
any doubt at the present moment. The figures are, therefore,
left to speak for themselves.
