The Public Health Inspectors continue to devote a very large
amount of their time to work of meat inspection at the slaughterhouse
premises. This permits only the minimum amount of district
inspection, and house to house inspection has been considerably
reduced.
In the latter part of the year four vacancies for district inspectors
were filled.
