The sum paid in respect of each analysis was 12s. 6d. per sample.
The Public Analyst (Mr. J. F. F. Rowland) comments, as follows, with regard
to various articles examined :—
Milk.—For the first time on record in this Borough not one of the samples
(211) taken during the year was found to be adulterated. This is most satisfactory
from every point of view and particularly so from that of the public.

The average composition of the milks taken during the year varies out litue from that of the previous two years. The figures for this year are given below and also those for the years 1929 and 1930.
