FIRST QUARTER ENDING 31st MARCH, 1915.
142 milk	Food Inspector, St. Marylebone, Borough Council.	Genuine.	£500 per ann.for 700 samples. Over that number 7/6 per sample.	No sample contained any preservative, but 30 samples had artificial colouring matter added. 4 were test samples.
12 milk		Adulterated. No. 27, 10.0 per cent, deficient in milk fat.		No. 27. Was consigned by the wholesale dealer from whom Sample No. 33 was taken on delivery, hence proceedings were not taken on this sample.
		No. 33, 10.0 do.		No. 33 Fined £2 and 12/6 costs.
		No. 125, 10.0 per cent, added water.		No. 125. Fined £1 and 12/6 costs.
		No. 126, 20.0 per cent, deficient in milk fat.		No. 126. Fined £1 and 12/6 costs.
		No. 169, 10.0 do.		Vendor's sample.
		No. 190, 10.0 do.		Sample taken on delivery by wholesale dealer to vendor of No. 169. Wholesale dealer requested sample to be taken at Paddington Station as consigned by farmer. 6 samples were deficient in fat, in respect of which proceedings taken by the Paddington Borough Council are pending. In these circumstances no proceedings were taken in respect of samples, Nos. 169 and 190.
		No. 248, 6.67 percent, deficient in milk fat, 16.9 per cent, added water.		No. 218. Defendant absconded. Summons not served.
		No. 280, 10.0 per cent, deficient in milk fat.		No. 280. Fined £2 No costs	Were Station samples as consigned by Farmers.

95 butter		Genuine.		22 were test samples. 49 samples contained between 10-20 grs. per lb. boracic acid, 43 contained between 20-30 grs. per lb. 3 samples had no preservatives added.
