DISINFECTION.
The following tables contain all the necessary information with regard to this
subject. The first, indicating the number and nature of the articles disinfected ;
and the second the reasons for disinfection.
A great deal of disinfection work, both of premises and articles, was done on
behalf of the military quartered in the Borough in hospitals and elsewhere.

In 1914, the number of articles disinfected was 12,766, and in 1913, 13,639.
The number of journeys made by the disinfecting vans during the year ended
December, 1915, was 620, as against 613 in 1914.
