The week ending February 10th was cool; the minimum temperature being
29.2°; maximum, 48.0° ; mean, 37.4°. On four days rain fell, the total fall
being equal to 0.77 inch. Winds, N. and N.W. Sunshine, 19 hours, which
is equal to 28% of the possible. Barometer. 29.8 inches.
The week ending February 17th was similar in weather to the former
week; minimum temperature, 30.0°; maximum, 48.8°; mean, 39.6°. On
four days rain fell, the total fall being 0.7 inch. Wind, variable. Sunshine,
16%. Mean barometer (low), 29.4 inches.
The week ending February 24th was finer but cooler; minimum
temperature, 28.9° ; maximum, 45.0° ; mean, 40.0°. Winds, N.W. and S.E.
Sunshine, 21%. Mean barometer, 29.8 inches.
The week ending March 3rd had a mean temperature of 42.3° ; maximum,
50.l° and minimum, 33.0°. On four days rain fell (0.21 inch), Winds, W.
and S.W. Sunshine, 18.8%. Mean barometer, 29.5 inches.
