During the four weeks ending May 28th there have been registered
210 births and 147 deaths.
These births and deaths are divided among the five sub-districts as set forth in Table IV,
Fifty-seven of the deaths were extra-parochial, as follows:—

as follows:—
All Souls, birth-rate 15.1; death-rate 12.1.
Rectory, birth-rate 17.0 ; death-rate 14.4.
St. Mary, birth-rate 17.9 ; death-rate 14.4.
Christ Church, birth-rate 29.3 ; death-rate 13.5
St. John, birth-rate 18.4 ; death-rate 19.7.
The whole district, birth-rate 20.5 ; death-rate 14.4.
The average death-rates for five years (1899 to 1903) for the corresponding
period were as follows:—All Souls, 13.1; Rectory, 17.2; St. Mary, 17.4;
Christ Church, 18.8 ; St. John, 19.9 ; the whole district, 17.0.
