The week ending October 1st was somewhat foggy. Minimum temperature,
38.8° maximum, 65.7°; mean, 52.1°. Winds variable. On two
days slight rain fell (0.14 inch). Sunshine about 34 % of the possible.
Mean barometer, 29.8 inches.
The week ending October 8th was fairly fine and free from fog. Minimum
temperature, 390°; maximum, 62.5°; mean, 47.1°. On two days
slight rain fell (0'45 inch). Sunshine registered in Regent's Park 11 %.
Mean barometer 30.2 inches.
The week ending October 15th was cool and overcast with occasional
fogs. Minimum temperature 35.0°; iraximum 57.0°; mean 50.6°. On one
day only slight rain fell (0.01 inch). Winds easterly. Sunshine, 14.6%.
Mean barometer, 30.0 inches.
The week ending October 22nd was foggy. Minimum temperature 39.5°;
maximum 64.1°; mean 56.8°. On three days rain fell (0.30 inch). Sunshine
in Regent's Park only 3 %. Mean barometer, 29.8 inches.
The week ending October 29th was fairly fine. Minimum temperature
40.5°; maximum, 59.0°; mean, 50.1°. On two days rain fell (0.28 inch)
Winds W. and W.N.W. Sunshine, 28 %. Mean barometer, 30.0 inches.
