Minimum temperature 42.2°; maximum 71.6°; mean 57.0° On three days
rain fell (0'36 inch). Wind S.W. Sunshine 44.8%. Mean barometer
29.9 inches.
The week ending September 17th was of moderate temperatures, the
minimum being 41.0°; maximum 71.4°; mean 56.4°. Winds variable. On
three days slight rain fell (0.24 inch). Sunshine 41.0%. Mean barometer
29.8 inches.
The week ending September 24th was cooler, owing to N. and N.E.
winds. Minimum temperature 40.5°; maximum 64.1°; mean 53.6°. On
three days slight rain fell (0.20 inch). Sunshine 60%. Barometer
29.9 inches.
Quarterly Summary.
During the thirteen weeks ending September 27th there have been
registered 680 births and 479 deaths. These births and deaths are' divided
among the five sub-districts, as set forth in Tables V. and XL. One hundred
