The week ending November 7th was fine with moderate temperatures
Minimum temperature, 36.58; maximum, 55.0°; mean, 53.0°. The winds,
E.S.E. and N.N.E. On one day rain fell to the amount of 0.24 inch. The
sunshine registered in Regent's Park amounted to 12 01 hours or about
18-9 per cent, of the possible. Mean barometer 30.1 inches.
The week ending November 14th was also a week of moderate temperatures.
Minimum temperature, 40.0° ; maximum, 55.0° ; mean, 49.88.
On three days rain fell (0.18 inch). The winds were W.S.W. The sky was
generally overcast and only 7'2 per cent. of sunshine was received. Mean
barometer 30.1 inches.
The week ending November 21st. was cool, fairly dry. and fine.
Minimum temperature, 342°; maximum, 54.2°; mean, 42.6°. Winds,
N.N.W. On two days slight rain fell (0.06 inch). The sunshine amounted
to 20 per cent. Mean barometer 29.9 inches.
The week ending November 28th was wet and stormy. Minimum
temperature, 39.0°; maximum. 52.5°; mean, 45.8°. Winds, westerly,
Rain fell on four days to the extent of 1.12 inch. Sunshine 10.8 per cent.
Mean barometer 29.9 inches.
The characters of the November weather were somewhat unusual.
There was generally a considerable amount of wind. Fogs and frosts were
absent and during the last week much rain fell.
