BIRTHS AND DEATHS.
The number of births registered during the 53 weeks
ending December 27th, 1902, when all the essential corrections
have been made, was 2,960.
The number of deaths (corrected) of parishioners was
2,458. This gives a birth-rate of 21.8; a death rate of 18.1 per
thousand.
The birth and death-rates of the sub-districts for 1902 were as follows:—
