The week ending September 13th was fine but cool. Minimum temperature,
40.0°; maximum, 69.0°; mean, 58.7°. On two days rain fell
(0.17 inch). Sunshine, 30.8 per cent. Mean barometer, 29.9 inches.
The week ending September 20th was dull and cool. Minimum
temperature, 40.0°; maximum, 64.0°; mean, 58.4°. On one day rain
fell (0.8 inch). Sunshine, 23.4 per cent. Mean barometer, 28.9 inches.
The week ending September 27th was much brighter and liner than
the preceding. Minimum temperature, 42.0°; maximum, 73.0°; mean,
59.0°. On one day only rain fell (0.02 inch). The winds were southeasterly.
Sunshine, 39.3 per cent. Mean barometer, 30.2 inches.
