CLERICAL WORK OF THE PUBLIC HEALTH
DEPARTMENT.
Mr. H. E. Curtis and Mr. W. J. Howe have performed
during the year the clerical work of the Department in an
efficient manner. They much appreciate the commodious
and well-lighted rooms and the facilities for keeping in order
the various documents and forms which the new offices possess.
The meeting hour of the Committee being 5 p.m. and the press
of work has necessitated long hours. An attempt has been
made in the following statement to tabulate a portion of the
clerical work admitting of this kind of numerical expression,
but as may be expected it gives no adequate idea of the work
performed.
