At the invitation of the Argentine Government, Mr. T. D. Young was permitted by
the Corporation to visit the Sixth International Cold Storage Congress, held at Buenos
Aires, in August.
Opportunity was taken of this visit to accept invitations from the Governments of
Uruguay and Brazil, to see the system of meat inspection in operation in those two countries.
These visits were of considerable value to Mr. Young, and through him, to the Corporation.

condemned last year, as compared with one ton in 582 in 1931.
