WARRANTY.
During the year the Warranty defence was successfully pleaded in three cases.
PROSECUTIONS.
19 Prosecutions were instituted, which may be summarised as follows:—
Ten defendants were convicted and fined, three defendants proved Warranty,
one summons was dismissed, in two cases the "notices "exhibited were held
to be sufficient, and three were withdrawn on payment of costs.
