Notes:—(1) Closing Orders : Orders were made in respect of individual unfit houses by Islington—154 houses (530 persons displaced) and Battersea—36 houses (173 persons displaced). Houses were closed in pursuance of an undertaking given by the owners and still in force in Islington (one house, 15 persons displaced) and Lambeth (one house).
