Division 3—Drayton Hall, Islington.—Extension of maternity and child welfare facilities
and addition of school treatment centre. As part of these premises was still in use by the
North West Metropolitan Regional Hospital Board for mass radiography, the Health
Committee decided to withdraw the scheme from the 1953-54 programme.
Division 7—Queen's Road Centre, Camberwell.—The scheme for the second stage works
for adaptation of these premises was postponed because of the shortage of steel and the
cost involved.
Foxley Road, Kennington.—Conversion of a former fire station to an ambulance station.
At the request of the Minister of Health a revised scheme and estimates were in
preparation.

Division 2—86 Carlton Hill, Marylebone.—Essential repairs on acquisition of a requisitioned
day nursery. These works awaited confirmation of a Compulsory Purchase
Order.

Division9—Stormont Road, Battersea.—Maternity and child welfare centre. Agreement had not been reached with the Battersea Metropolitan Borough Council on the use of this site.
