Marriages
The marriages registered in London during 1937 numbered approximately
44,746 or 21.9 per thousand of the population, the corrected rate for the preceding
year being 21.6.
Births
The live births allocated to London (Juring 1937 numbered 55,011, compared
with 56,273 in the preceding year. The live.birth rate was 13.4 per thousand as
against 13.6 in 1936.
