Case notified to Medical Officer of Health of Kensington in July, 1909. Death recorded in "Return," 10.X.09. On 5.xi.09 case exhibited at Laryng. Soc. v. Trans. Roy. Soc. of Med.Extensive ulceration tonsils and fauces. In December, '08, case was shown at Laryng. Soc.; then thought to be refractory syphilitic ulceration. B. mallei foundThis case resembled that of A.B. Case V. in Bernstein and Carling's paper, v. supra. A full account of the case is given by Messrs. Addison and Hett, "Lancet," 23.X.09. The man was believed to have been in contact with a glandered horse.
