It will be seen from the foregoing table (comparing the corrected death.rates) that in the quinquennium
1905-9 Finsbury (20.6) had the highest rate and Hampstead (11.0) the lowest; in the year
1910, Finsbury (19.3) had the highest, and Lewisham (10.4) the lowest. The death-rates in each of the
four quarters of the year 1910, were as follows: first quarter 153; second quarter 12.5; third quarter
11.1; and fourth quarter 15.8, per 1,000 persons living.
