SMOKE CONTROL AREAS
All that part of St. Pancras south of Euston Road is smoke controlled and contains
areas Nos. 1, 2 and 3.
The St. Pancras (No.4) Smoke Control Order, which comprises Ward l, was made
by the Council on the 2nd May, 1962, confirmed by the Minister of Housing and Local
Government on the 18th July, 1962, and comes into operation on the 1st October, 1963.
On the 10th October, 1962, the Council made the St. Pancras (No. 5) Smoke Control
Order which comprises part of Ward 3. Confirmation was given on the 20th December,
1962, and it comes into operation on the 1st October, 1963.
