§9.—NUISANCES.
Regent's Canal Water.—It was resolved on the 17th December, 1902, that
four samples of water should be taken from parts of the Regent's Canal within
the Borough once in every six months and be sent to the Public Analyst for
analysis. Accordingly samples have been taken from time to time and sent to
the Public Analyst. The detailed result of the analyses have been reported to
the Borough Council; the general results were that the Public Analyst found
that the samples of water were sewage contaminated, but that contamination
was not such as to cause a nuisance.
