In reference to a recent duty falling upon the Vestry, namely, the inspection
of workshops, whilst it is possible to attend to the occasional complaints
in reference to such premises, it is quite impossible, as I have already reported,
to institute a systematic inspection of workshops throughout the district until
special inspectors are appointed for that purpose, and the clerical staff also
strengthened proportionately.
