An additional Van for the conveyance of articles to and from the disinfecting
station has been provided. This has been rendered necessary on
account of the inability of two Vans, one for infected, and the other for disinfected
articles, to cope with the transport of articles during the busiest time
of the year, and this van will also be ready upon emergency to replace
either of the other two in case of disablement. The van is built to carry one
ton, weighs 13 cwt. 3 qrs., has a capacity of 202 cubic feet, and is constructed
of a special shape, resembling a furniture van, with a capacious well at the
rear end.
