Inspection of Sanitary Conveniences.
The number of Sanitary Conveniences inspected was 135 ;
22 in Clapham, 26 in Putney, 25 in Streatham, 11 in Tooting, and
51 in Wandsworth. 281 inspections were made during the year,
and 22 notices, chiefly for cleansing, were served and complied with ;
and 110 inspections of Sanitary Conveniences for females were
made by the Female Sanitary Inspectors.
Canal Boats Act.
During the year five inspections of Canal Boats were made,
but it was not necessary to serve any notices, as on inspection
the condition of all the boats was found to be satisfactory.
Increase of Rent and Mortgage Interest (Restrictions)
Act, 1920.
140 applications for Certificates under the above Act were
received during the year. On inspection it was found that 131
