Table LI. shows the sub-districts from which the patients were
drawn and the authorities or agencies recommending them. As in
previous years, the largest number of cases came from Wandsworth
and the smallest from Putney.
252 were recommended by the Public Health Department,
compared with 496 in 1914. As previously mentioned, the decrease
in the number here is probably due to the dispensary being open in
the morning only.
Private practitioners recommended exactly the same number,
170, in 1915 as in 1914, while the London Insurance Committee
