Report of the Medical Officer of Health.
39
children were visited two or three times to see that medical
attendance was provided.
It was necessary to carry out disinfection in Furzedown Demonstration,
St. Faith's, Parochial Old Town, and Swaffield Road, and
several private schools, but in all these cases, with the exception of
Swaffield Road, the disinfection was carried out without closing the
schools.
Swaffield Road School was closed from the 15th November
till the 6th December on account of the prevalence of Scarlet Fever
and Diphtheria.
