The average content of Boron preservative (in terms of Crystallised
Boric Acid) contained in the 506 samples of Butter (reported
as genuine) which contained this preservative amounted to 0-29 per
cent., equivalent to 20.3 grains per lb. Butter.

DRUGS. Of the 66 samples—all taken informally—submitted, 5 only were reported against, as under :—
